CLEANING (important)

1. Twist the end cap anticlockwise until it stops.
2. Dip the entire nib into the clean water.
3. Draw the clean water (DON'T USE SOLVENTS) into the pen, twisting the end cap clockwise until it stops.
4. Please repeat 1-3 a few times until the water becomes clean.
5. Clean the nib with a damp, lint-free cloth.
6. PLEASE DON'T TRY TO REMOVE NIB, PISTON DEVICE or TWIST THE GRIP SECTION.

USE and MAINTENANCE (important)

1. We highly recommend washing the pen reservoir with clean water, when the pen is not used for long periods of time.
2. Ink left in the pen for long periods of time may change its color.
3. We recommend that the pen is always carried in an upright position.
4. During air travel, we suggest keeping the pen reservoir empty. High air pressure may force ink out of barrel or ink feeder.

WARRANTY

How long is a Penlux pen under warranty?

Each Penlux pen is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase against any functioning defects. Only parts that should be found defective by Authorized Penlux Service Agents, will be repaired or replaced under guarantee. In order to benefit from the International Guarantee Certificate, you will be required to present to an Authorized Penlux Dealers or Service Agent the International Guarantee Certificate, duly completed, dated and stamped by an Authorized Penlux Dealer.

What is excluded from the Penlux pen International Guarantee/limited warranty?

The Penlux pen International Guarantee/Limited Warranty does not include: Damage resulting from accidental impacts, inappropriate or abusive use (shocks, crushing, etc.), alterations caused particularly by direct exposure to sunrays and/or to high temperatures, unauthorized repairs or manipulations as well as consequences of the normal wear and ageing.
